I create documentary films that go to the places and people most filmmakers don't reach — from the exclusion zones of Chernobyl to the mountain passes of Tajikistan, from English Heritage restoration projects to the intimate worlds of artists, makers and communities in the UK.

My approach combines cinematic observational filmmaking, sensitive interviewing and strong visual direction to tell emotionally grounded human stories. I work independently as a self-shooting director and producer, and within wider production teams on larger projects.

Over 15 years of filming across diverse environments and cultures has given me a particular skill for earning trust quickly, drawing out authentic, unguarded stories from contributors in unfamiliar or emotionally complex situations.

I am currently in production on a documentary pilot exploring mental health and midlife transition, examining how people navigate rupture, reinvention and the search for meaning in the second half of life.
